TRAFICON group- members of Czech-Israeli Mutual Chamber of Commerce

Companies within the TRAFICON group are becoming members of Czech-Israeli Mutual Chamber of Commerce effective March 2021.

This membership provides us with the chance to actively support traditionally very good Czech-Israeli relations and also with the opportunity to take part in interesting events and establish useful connections.

We believe, that we will, with the support of the Chamber, have the chance to present to Israeli partners interesting investment opportunities, such as for instance progressive technology for production of potable water via desalination, which has been developed by the Italian company Solaris Aquae, into which we invested two years ago.

Sales of PVP portfolio EQUES FOTOVOLTAICA

After 3 years of operation on the Czech photovoltaic power market, Traficon Services has made a sale of its PVP portfolio of the total accumulated output of 12 MWp.

The portfolio was owned by EQUES FOTOVOLTAICA investment fund.

Traficon Services has therefore ensured acquisition, refinancing, management and final divestment.

06/2019 Ira Saul Rubenstein was honored

Ira Saul Rubenstein, Senior Partner - International Business with Traficon Advisors s.r.o., was honored on 13 June 2019 by the Czech Green Building Council (CZGBC), the Czech Republic’s trade organization for the sustainable development industry.

Mr. Rubenstein helped to found the CZGBC by chairing initial focus group meetings, working as one of six steering committee members, and then serving as its founding Chairman.

In recognition of his service, at a celebration of the 10^th anniversary of its founding, the CZGBC awarded Mr. Rubenstein the lifetime honorary chairmanship of the CZGBC.

Traficon Advisors as an exclusive financial advisor successfully completed for its client – 50% shareholder of  Kovolis Hedvikov, a.s. Mr. Karel Koudelka Sr. and Karel Koudelka Jr.  – sale 50% of their shares in the company. New 100% owner of the company became a company Kovolis Hedvikov Holding, a.s. owned by Miloslav Pavlas Sr. and Miloslav Pavlas Jr. Traficon Advisors has managed and organized all aspects of the selling process.

Traficon Advisors as an exclusive financial advisor successfully secured cross boarder acquisition financing of an office portfolio into the investment fund managed by its client, REDSIDE investiční společnost. Financing volume reached 52 million EUR.

Traficon Advisors has won a new mandate from one of the world's leading car manufacturers for advisory in support and preparation of cooperation and business models in integration of importers on the selected EU and global markets in implementation of the Diplomatic Sales project.

12/2015 Securing financing interactive exhibition

Traficon Advisors has won a new mandate to provide advice and secure financing in the amount of EUR 30 mm for realizing a world-class themed attraction dedicated to the history and fame of Czech beer at home and abroad. The interactive destination will be located in the very center of Prague, with an ambition to attract 1 million visitors a year. Participation of the largest brewers in the country has been secured. The project will be developed and choreographed by BRC Imagination Arts, producers of the Heineken Experience and Guinness Storehouse.

12/2015 M&A transaction in the logistics sector

Traficon Advisors as an exclusive financial advisor successfully completed for its client – ČSAD Hodonín a.s. – sale of the logistics division. The logistics division attracted interest by various numbers of both Czech and international logistics companies. New owner of this division became a company JIPOCAR Logistic s.r.o. Traficon Advisors has managed and organized all aspects of the selling process.

4/2014 Earth day Fryday

Ira Saul Rubenstein, Traficon’s Senior Partner for International Business, was the featured speaker at the Earth Day FRYDAY meeting, held on 22 April at the Le Palais Art Hotel Prague. Mr. Rubenstein discussed his views on Alternative Energy & Clean Technologies-related matters from an investment bankers’ perspective, drawing on his many years of experience as a financier both in Europe and in the United States.

4/2014 The tenth annual international conference on the real estate market in Croatia

Ira Saul Rubenstein, Traficon Advisors’s Senior Partner for International Business, visited Zagreb recently to participate in The Tenth Annual International Conference on the Real Estate Market in Croatia, held on 9&10 April at The Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. Mr. Rubenstein moderated the 10 April panel “RENEWABLE ENERGY: De-risking Energy Supply in a Challenging World” which featured five representatives from finance, government and industry addressing issues including reduction of energy useage, supply diversification, sustainable supply and increased access to indigenous resources.

3/2014 Traficon Advisors Ukraine

Traficon Advisors Ukraine signed an advisory mandate to structure and arrange growth financing for one of the leading consumer electronics sales groups in the country. The capital will be used primarily to finance the introduction and initial development of an innovative online customer service model with global growth potential. The new model will be first introduced in the Russian language in Ukraine and other Russian speaking CIS countries and subsequently adopted in other languages and expanded to other regions. Total transaction value of the initial funding round is expected to be in the area of 3 million USD.

02/2014 Partner Ukraine

Naum Rikshpun, Traficon Advisors Partner in Ukraine, has been elected as a Director of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA). The Agency helps promote joint European-Ukrainian activity in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency, environmentally friendly technology transfer and sustainable development. As part of his duties as a member of the Board of Directors, Naum will serve on the Government Relations committee. He will be actively involved in working with the country’s government bodies in shaping the future of Ukraine’s energy market in accordance with European and international standards to establish an attractive and sustainable environment for international investment.
